STORY
Back in 2012, 'Lady E' the owner of JBRYE CUPCAKES, started baking cupcakes and named her business 'Brye Cupcakes'. Lady E had always had a passion for baking, which she inherited from her mom, who could both cook and bake exceptionally well. However, when she had to be away from her mom, she craved desserts that were just like mom's, delicious but without a boatload of sugar. She couldn't stand that most baked goods in the grocery stores were just jam-packed with sugar but didn't really taste all that good.
When she has her mind set on achieving anything, Lady E goes hard and all out until it gets done. So once she decided to start her cupcake business, she put all her zeal and effort into it and literally registered her business, designed her website, social media platforms, business card, brochures and flyers and arranged to start selling her cupcakes online and at the Laurel Main Street Farmer's market all in the same month.
Her cupcakes were received very well and by the following year in November, her business was one of six, that were selected by one of her most avid supporters, Maureen Rogers (Laurel Board of Trade), to be featured on Verizon Fios Channel 42 & Comcast Channel 76, as well as the Baltimore Sun for the former Maryland Comptroller, Peter Franchot & former Laurel Mayor, Craig Moe's visit to the Laurel Mill Playhouse, in support of small business owners. So Lady E started pursuing a retail storefront on Laurel's 'Main Street' and found a small location, which seemed like a perfect fit.
However, two weeks prior to the date to sign the lease, she and her husband discovered that she was pregnant and her doctors informed her it would be a difficult, high-risk pregnancy and she would likely be on bed-rest throughout. Lady E was devastated that her dreams of a cupcake cafe/restaurant, had come to a crashing halt. Year after year passed and though she still held that dream in her heart of opening a storefront cupcake bakery, the dream now sadly felt out of reach.
Late one evening however, ten years later, whilst she laid in bed, deeply pensive and mulling over regrets, GOD gave Lady E a revelation in a dream, which she realized was GOD encouraging her to be courageous and pursue her business venture again. So she prayed severally and made the decision not to give up on her dream, holding onto the belief that 'IT WAS NEVER TOO LATE TO TRY AGAIN!' Thus Brye Cupcakes was reborn and JBRYE CUPCAKES was founded.

Our Corporate Boxed Lunches are becoming more and more popular in the community daily. They come with a gourmet sandwich or wrap, a side, a dessert and a beverage. They are always made fresh in the morning, individually packaged, custom labeled and delivered promptly to your venue with no set-up required.
Our Chin-Chin Crunchies come in multiple delicious flavors and are a no-mess, softer crunch, unique dessert treat, that's perfect for office break-room snacks, party favors and corporate gifts.
